Welcome to Monity ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our website monitoring platform at monity.in (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Account Registration

To use our Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.

2. Description of Service

Monity provides website and server uptime monitoring services, including:

• HTTP and TCP/Ping monitoring of user-specified URLs and IP addresses
• Email notifications when monitored targets go down or recover
• Response time tracking and uptime percentage reporting
• Check history and log retention

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to monitor websites or servers you do not own or have authorization to monitor
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws
• Attempt to overwhelm, abuse, or exploit the monitoring infrastructure (e.g., DDoS, excessive requests)
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or unsolicited communications

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

4. Free and Paid Plans

Monity offers both free and paid plans. Free plans are provided "as-is" with limited features. Paid plans offer additional features and higher limits as described on our Pricing page.

For paid plans:

• Billing is recurring (monthly or annual) unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
• We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice

5. Data and Privacy

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices. Key points:

• We store your email, name, and monitoring configuration data
• Monitoring logs (response times, status codes) are stored for the retention period defined by your plan
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties
• We use email solely for account verification, notifications you configure, and essential service communications

6. Uptime and Service Availability

While we strive to maintain high availability of our monitoring infrastructure, we do not guarantee 100% uptime of the Service itself. Monity is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

We are not liable for any damages resulting from:

• Missed or delayed notifications
• Inaccurate monitoring results
• Service downtime or outages
• Data loss

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with Monity are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You retain ownership of any data you provide to the Service (URLs, configuration, etc.).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Monity and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your access to the Service will be revoked
• Your monitoring data will be deleted within 30 days
• No refunds are provided for unused portions of paid plans, except under our money-back guarantee

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
